This is a friendly reminder that Friday, March 14th, will be a Teacher Workday. There will be no school for students on this day. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday, March 17th.

Congratulations to Lakyn Redmon, the 2025-2026 Georgia HOSA State Officer! Lakyn completed an extensive application process, interviews, and a competitive campaign both on social media and at the state conference. She will proudly serve as the Region 2 Representative. This marks a historic moment for Commerce High School, as Lakyn becomes the schoolās first-ever CTSO State Officer!



What an incredible night at the CES Talent Show! Our students wowed the crowd with amazing singing, mind-blowing magic tricks, hilarious comedy acts, and high-energy dance performances! The creativity and confidence on stage were truly inspiring!
A huge thank you to all our talented participants for sharing their gifts, our supportive families for cheering them on, and our staff for making this event possible. Nights like these remind us just how special the CES community is!

Weāre celebrating National School Breakfast Week and the importance of a healthy start to the day! At Commerce City Schools, we know a nutritious breakfast fuels success, and weāre grateful for our amazing nutrition staff who make it happen every morning.





CMS FFA students learned about commodities and where our food comes from! Mrs. Pearson shared her passion for milling her own flour at home, bringing in her grain mill, example grains, and homemade baked goods for students to see and taste.



Thank you to the CHS Teaching as a Profession students for participating in Read Across America Week at CPS and CES! They selected books, practiced their readings, and led engaging activities with the younger students.










One of the highlights of Multicultural Night was the piƱata!









Congrats to Ladd Sosebee for winning the preliminary round of the Area II FFA Creed Speaking LDE! Heās off to the finals in two weeks!

What an incredible turnout for CCSS Multicultural Night! It was amazing to see our community come together to celebrate the rich diversity within our schools. From delicious foods and cultural displays to the fantastic performance by our CHS Band, the evening was a true reflection of the many backgrounds that make our community so special.
A huge thank you to our students, families, staff, and volunteers who made this event possible. Your participation and enthusiasm made it a night to remember!










š¢ Kindergarten Registration Opens April 1st!

Today, Mrs. Cruzās class visited the DMV to obtain identification licenses. This hands-on experience provided the students with a unique opportunity to engage with community services, learn about important administrative processes, and develop valuable life skills.










This week, CMS students had an incredible opportunity to explore their futures as we celebrated National Career Week! We showcased nine different career professionals, providing students with a hands-on learning experience about various industries and job opportunities.
Students rotated through engaging stations where they interacted with experts, asked questions, and gained valuable insights into potential career paths. A huge thank you to the dedicated teachers and staff at CMS for organizing this amazing event, and heartfelt thanks to the professionals for sharing their expertise and inspiring our students!
