We’re excited to welcome the GHP Cinema Drive to CHS today! Sophomores and juniors will have the opportunity to engage in realistic driving simulations designed to promote safe driving habits. This hands-on experience is a valuable tool to help our students stay safe on the road.

Cameron Shirley and Lauren Milford enjoyed collaborating and networking at the Jackson County Chamber Women in Business event. This event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with local businesses and organizations, fostering relationships that support our Work-Based Learning program and create valuable opportunities for our students.

Shoutout to our amazing School Food & Nutrition team for adding some fun and excitement to the menu for National Poultry Day! Our students and staff loved celebrating with delicious chicken wings — thank you for all you do to keep our kids happy and well-fed!

We are grateful to voters like Mr. Steve Anderson, who never had the opportunity to attend an integrated Commerce Elementary School, but whose children and grandchildren have. A proud graduate of Commerce High School Class of 1972 and an alumnus of J.L. Williams Elementary School, Mr. Anderson recently joined his daughter Rashada—a dedicated third grade teacher at Commerce Elementary—in voting to support the funding of our new Commerce Elementary School. His legacy will continue to impact generations to come, and we are thankful for his commitment to our community.

As we are building for the future of Commerce City Schools, I want to thank our voters for supporting the ELOST continuation and for the bond that will fund the new Commerce Elementary School. The vote tonight means that we start construction on time for the children of Commerce City Schools to have a true PK-5 elementary school opening August of 2027. I can’t thank our community enough for sharing our vision of Expecting Excellence in Everything we do and approving these very important initiatives. Go Tigers! Tonight, we had the privilege of celebrating Senior Night and recognizing our senior Tigers for their hard work and commitment throughout their track and field careers. Congratulations to: Ava Adams, Shay Mitchell, Jaiden Daniels, Michael Duncan, Sean Echols, Braxton Epps, Bryson Fleeman, Tyler Hardman, Jacari Huff, Jeremiah Mintz, Noah Prickett, Tobias Russell, Wesley Usher, Tauric Varnum, and Tysean Wiggins. Your dedication has left a lasting impact on Commerce Track & Field. We are proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of you.

5th grade FACS classes are learning about kitchen safety and creating posters to share what they've learned about staying safe in the kitchen.

We had a an amazing group of dedicated athletes attend our second Jr. Tiger Speed & Agility Clinic. It was great to see our young Tigers working hard, improving their skills, and showing real determination.
