Over the break, some of our talented Commerce football players had the incredible opportunity to participate in The Peach State Gridiron Classic All-Star Game, organized by Coach Lamar Daniels. This prestigious game brought together standout players from 15 different states, representing 67 high schools. Our players who took part were: Jaiden Daniels Tysean Wiggins Jacari Huff Jermiah Mintz Terrence Burtch Michael Duncan A special shoutout goes to Jeremiah Mintz, who was named one of the Players of the Game!

Commerce City Schools wishes you a Happy New Year! We are excited for the new opportunities and experiences that 2025 will bring.

In order to construct the new weight room, locker rooms, coaches’ offices, and multi-purpose room, our construction team had to temporarily remove the vinyl wrapping along with the historic green Tiger Eyes. The old structure will be relocated to the opposite end of the stadium in the coming weeks and will be operational by the first home soccer game. The new building will also feature green Tiger Eyes as part of its design. We are excited about the progress being made in our school system to provide our students with exceptional facilities both inside and outside our buildings, as well as with the construction of new facilities. As we continue to build upon the foundation laid by the past for our students, teachers, and community, I ask for your patience throughout this process. Merry Christmas from CCSS!

Our car rider lines at CPS and CES were filled with smiles today as we welcomed some surprise guests!

The Commerce City School System will be closed for students and staff beginning Monday, December 23rd through Monday, January 6th. Staff return on January 6th and students return on Tuesday, January 7th! We hope our students, staff, and community have a safe break, and we can't wait to see everyone in 2025!

Commerce City Schools came together tonight to celebrate our amazing adaptive classes throughout our district. The evening was filled with recognitions, holiday cheer, gifts, and a special visit from Santa himself, creating memories to last a lifetime. It was truly a night to honor and celebrate our incredible students and the bright spirit they bring to our school system every day. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers, staff members, supportive families, sponsors, and the entire community for coming together to make this event so special. Your love and commitment to our students is what makes nights like this possible.

Today, members of our primary and elementary leadership team visited the brand-new Franklin County Elementary School! This incredible facility was designed and built by the same team of architects and construction experts who will be building our new Commerce Elementary School. Set to open in August 2027, our new school will be a state-of-the-art learning environment for our students. Touring Franklin County Elementary gave us valuable ideas and inspiration to ensure our school meets the needs of our community for years to come. Exciting things are on the horizon for Commerce City Schools!

🎄🚂 All Aboard the Polar Express! 🚂🎄 Our CPS 1st graders had an unforgettable time celebrating Polar Express Day! Dressed in cozy pajamas, they embarked on a magical journey filled with stories, laughter, and holiday fun. Thank you to our amazing teachers, staff, and families for creating such a wonderful experience. The excitement and joy in the children’s eyes reminded us all of the magic of the season!

Congratulations to Jacquelin Gibson, our ESS Sub of the Month! We truly appreciate your hard work and dedication. A special thank you to Kimi Falken for her incredible efforts in fostering a seamless partnership between ESS and Commerce City Schools. We’re so grateful for both of you!

Today was filled with holiday cheer! Our district office enjoyed passing out candy canes to all students. Seeing those bright smiles truly made our day. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season!

Our multi-curricular class at CMS had a blast visiting the FACS classroom for a special Christmas cookie bake! Students came together to mix, bake, and decorate delicious holiday treats while learning new skills and spreading festive cheer. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this hands-on activity so memorable!
