Second Annual Tigers Wrestling Night Out!
Tonight was a fantastic night for Tigers Wrestling! We kicked things off with a steak dinner served by our CMS wrestlers, followed by exciting youth, middle school, and alumni matches. We also took a special moment to recognize our seniors for their dedication and leadership.
The night wrapped up with a big win, as our Tigers defeated Stephens County!

Our amazing first graders at CPS hit a home run tonight with their performance of Itās a Hit! This baseball-themed musical showcased their talent, hard work, and enthusiasm, and we couldnāt be more proud!
A huge shoutout to Mrs. Hall, our wonderful music teacher, for her dedication and guidance in bringing this show to life. From the catchy songs to the adorable choreography, our young stars brought energy and joy to the stage.

Commerce City Schools Two-Hour Delay ā Jan. 23
To allow road conditions to improve for safe transport, Commerce City Schools will open two hours later on Thursday, Jan. 23. Buses will run on a delayed schedule. Staff should report as scheduled, as long as travel conditions permit. Safety remains our top priority.

Commerce City Schools Closed Wednesday, Jan. 22
Due to icy conditions and winter weather, Commerce City Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 22 to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Thank you to Nicholson Baptist Church, our valued Partners in Education, for covering car rider duty this morning at CPS & CES. Your support allowed our teachers and staff to stay warm inside with our students. We truly appreciate your generosity and commitment to our school community.



Due to an updated adjustment to the weather forecast, Commerce City Schools will release one hour early today, and all after-school activities are canceled. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Go Tigers!

Commerce City Schools will operate on a normal schedule Tuesday, January 21. We are closely monitoring the weather, so be sure to bundle up! Our schools are warm and ready to welcome and serve our students.

Shoutout to Caroline Conger, Noah Rumbaugh, and Gavan Welchel for a great season!
The Swim Tigers will compete one last time at the GHSA State Championship on Feb. 5-6 at Georgia Tech!


Our Varsity team wrestled hard this weekend, showing determination and resilience in every match. While we came up short, it was a weekend full of hard-fought battles, and weāre ready to keep pushing over the next four weeks.
We are proud of our team and look forward to their next competition this Friday at the 2nd Annual Commerce Wrestling Night Out!
