Mr. Kirk and Mrs. Milford had the incredible opportunity to present at the Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators (GASPA) Spring Conference! Their session, āSmall but Meaningful Changes: Building Foundations in Year One,ā highlighted the intentional steps they took during their first year as district leaders to strengthen systems, build relationships, and support staff across Commerce City Schools.
This past year has been one of growth, learning, and strategic foundation buildingāand itās only the beginning of whatās to come!


Arianna and Mayah Patman of the Commerce Varsity Girls Basketball Program attended Captainās Camp at Rock Eagle this week!
This unique experience focuses on developing leadership both on the court and in the classroom, and we know these two were more than up for the challenge.

Late-night deliveries donāt stop us! The 2025-2026 curriculum for CCSS arrived after hours, and in true "boots-on-the-ground" leadership style, our Superintendent, Mr. Kirk, wasted no time stepping in. He borrowed a forklift, jumped into action, and personally delivered the materials across campus to a secure location.
Weāre so thankful for a leader whoās always ready to roll up his sleeves and do what it takes to support our schools!


Members of Commerce City Schools were honored to take part in the 2nd Annual Jackson County VIP Farm Tour. It was an amazing day connecting with local industries, state officials, and community leaders while learning more about the vital role agriculture plays in our community.
Commerce High School was the first stop on the tour, where CHS FFA Advisor Skyler Davis provided a delicious breakfast and shared valuable information about the schoolās agricultural programs.
Big thanks to Ward Black, President of the Jackson County Young Farmer Organization, for organizing and inviting us to this impressive event. Your hard work and passion for agriculture truly shine!

2025 Crayons to Caps Celebration ššļø
This year, Commerce City Schools introduced a new tradition: the Crayons to Caps Celebration!
Our Class of 2025 seniors paired up with our Class of 2037 kindergarteners for a special exchange of graduation bracelets.
This event celebrated the connection between the beginning and end of a studentās K-12 experience, reminding us of the incredible milestones achieved along the way. The joy and excitement shared by the seniors and kindergarteners created unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this celebration a success. Traditions like these strengthen the bonds within our Commerce City Schools family and highlight the pride we have in our community.
