CPS held their first "Ready, Set, Kindergarten" presentation this evening! Families learned things to work on to prepare their future Tigers for school. They even received tools to help them at home.
A Title I Parent Feedback Meeting will be held on 4/16 at 6pm (at CES) or 4/17 at 7:45am (at CPS). We will cover various Title I topics on our school but more importantly, we will ask for your feedback regarding our school processes. Please join us at one of the meetings to share your input. It is very important to our school .

Attention parents of future Tigers: If you have a child ages 3-5 who is not currently enrolled in Kindergarten, please join us on Thursday, April 11 at 6:00 in the CPS cafeteria. We will share tips for preparing your child for school. Each parent in attendance will receive a take-home bag with at-home fine motor and literacy activities. Bring your smile to Spring Picture Day on April 11! Students will have individual and class pictures made on this day. Class pictures will cost $10. An envelope will be sent home on Monday, April 8 for class picture orders. Only students returning the envelope and $10 fee by Thursday, April 11 will receive a class photo. Individual photo packages will be sent home in late April/early May for purchase.

Norfolk Southern Rail notified the City of Commerce that the railroad crossing (highlighted in yellow) at N Elm and Homer/Jefferson Rd will be closed for repair /repaving from Friday morning at 7am until Saturday morning at 8am. Broad Street and Elm Street will be open (just the crossing will be closed) Please plan for delays with traffic. Thank you for your patience.

Good Morning! A few reminders for the week ahead:
-The Book Fair will be open daily Monday-Wednesday from 7:30-3:30. It will close on Thursday at 12.
-All Valentine's Day deliveries will be held in the front office until the end of the school day. Balloons and glass cannot be taken on the bus. Parents of bus riders will need to come pick up any deliveries containing balloons or glass from the front office.
-Winter Break for students is February 16-February 21. School will resume on February 22.

You may access the TINA survey by using your web browser. Open your web browser and type in the URL (web address) as listed http://www.owledu.com/commercecity
The login screen for the TINA software will appear. Your Username is: xxxPARENT where xxx is the abbreviation for your school.
Commerce Elementary School: CESParent
Commerce Primary School: CPSParent
Commerce Middle School: CMSParent
Commerce High School: CHSParent
(Example. A Parent at Commerce High School would have a username of CHSParent.)
Your Password is: TINA
Please enter the Username and Password and press the [Log On] button. After you log in correctly, you will see the name of the survey that needs to be taken. To complete the survey, simply click on the [Take Survey] button by the survey.
Proceed through the survey answering the questions as appropriate.
When you have finished answering this survey, you should click on the [Save] button at the bottom of the screen.
