(1)  Device pick-up-  If students still need a device, pick-up time will be Monday, April 6, from 2:00 until 5:00 pm.  There will be someone at the front door of each school.  We will ask parents to drive-thru (do not get out of your vehicles) to pick up the device.  Parents at CPS have completed an online survey to "order" a device.  Parents of students at CES, CMS, and CHS will sign a waiver when they pick up a device on Monday.

(2)  Graduation/prom-  Please know that we will be meeting to discuss possible plans for graduation and prom.  As plans are made, we will share that information.

(3) Online Instruction-  We will continue with online instruction on Monday, April 6 for CES, CMS, and CHS.  On Tuesday, April 7, CPS will begin online instruction.

(4)  Grading/promotion/retention-  I have asked the principals to work with each leadership team to discuss a plan for promotion/retention.  The principals will get those plans to me, and we will share them with our Board for approval during the April meeting.

If you have questions, please contact me.  I hope you will continue to enjoy your break this week with your family.  I apologize for vague plans, but we cannot predict how this virus will affect our community.  As things change, we will also adapt our plans to best meet the needs of our students and employees.  Take care.
